City Police Recover 1,200 Grams of Charas, While Miana Gondal Police Seize 20 Liters of Illicit Liquor in Separate Operations
MANDI BAHAUDDIN (Raja Muhammad Ayub) — Mandi Bahauddin Police have intensified operations against drug dealers across the district on the special directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Kamran Aamir Khan.
In separate operations, City Police and Miana Gondal Police arrested two suspects and recovered narcotics and illegal liquor from their possession.
During a routine checking and blockade operation, City Police arrested a suspicious individual under the leadership of City Police Station SHO Sub-Inspector Zahid Imran Ranjha.
Police recovered 1,200 grams of charas from the suspect’s possession. Officials registered a case against the accused and initiated further legal proceedings. The seized narcotics were reportedly worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
In a separate operation, Miana Gondal Police arrested another suspect and recovered 20 liters of illicit liquor from his possession.
Police registered a separate case against the suspect and initiated legal proceedings in accordance with the law.
DPO Kamran Aamir Khan said operations against drug dealers would continue across Mandi Bahauddin district without discrimination.
He emphasized that police would utilize all available resources to prevent drug-related activities and protect the younger generation from the harmful effects of narcotics.
Mandi Bahauddin Police reaffirmed their commitment to continuing enforcement operations against drug trafficking and illegal substances across the district.
